| The Gillman Ghoul cryptid story began in 1990. Supposedly, the story goes that a group of indie videographers went to Gillman to explore the abandoned buildings. They arrived early in the morning and planned to stay until evening time. After completing their project for the day, they decided to stay in the house with the most structure left over. Jack Black and his friend, Dennis Barndoor Jr. brought food provisions and a couple sleeping bags for the overnight camp. The two were in college and began celebrating their successful day with some beer and burgers. Jack says he went downstairs to go to the restroom outside when a figure stood and looked at him from the end of the hallway. "It just stood there and tilted its head at me. I thought it might be an alien or something. Then it moved toward me and I could tell it was like half demon and half bat." |
